Resound Photoelectric Technology Research Institute (LSRPTR), abbreviated as Resound Research Institute, is a new R&D institution dedicated to the research, development, and industrialization of optoelectronic technologies. Committed to developing and manufacturing domestically produced high-end scientific instruments and equipment, it serves as a high-level contracted platform under the Henan Provincial Party Committee's “Three Batches” initiative and an investment attraction enterprise within the Central Plains Science City. Commencing trial operations in August 2024, the Resound Photoelectric Technology Research Institute occupies a total floor area of 5,300 square meters and currently employs over 200 personnel. Its team includes multiple collaborating academicians, several National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars recipients, and more than 100 professors and PhDs, holding over 70 independent intellectual property rights.
As an integrated industrialization base for high-end scientific equipment encompassing design, R&D, production, sales, and service, the Resound Photoelectric Technology Research Institute focuses on four core technological directions: micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and lithography, optoelectronics and spectroscopy, high-power laser applications, and nuclear instrumentation. It operates under an R&D framework of “Eight Institutes, One Center, and One Platform,” with products spanning seven major categories and over 100 models. As a privately-funded industrial technology institute, Resound Photoelectric Technology Research Institute employs an innovative mechanism of “entrepreneur-led + scientist-participation + market-oriented operation.” It focuses on the industrialization of scientific achievements, adheres to market orientation, and has established deep collaborations with numerous renowned domestic and international universities, research institutions, and enterprise platforms.
